旭仔（張國榮）為了與生母重逢，而遠赴菲律賓最終失敗收場，誤打誤撞地遇到了超仔（劉德華）剛剛完成了行船工作，倆人經歷了生死槍戰後幸運地回到香港。超仔重操故業當差在電話亭等待相遇蘇麗珍的機會，相遇後得知蘇麗珍曾經打電話給自己，也交代自己行船的經歷，二人慢慢走近。

旭仔在火車途中一直記掛着有養育之恩的媽媽，趁着將會離開香港的養母急急送別，雙雙落淚回心微笑地擁抱。

The story of Days of Being Wild expresses emotions delicately, and each protagonist ends with regret.

In order to reunite with his biological mother, Xu Zai (Leslie Cheung) went to the Philippines and ended up in failure. He accidentally met Chao Zai (Andy Lau) who had just completed his sailing work. The two experienced a life-and-death shootout and luckily returned to Hong Kong. Chao Zai returned to his old job and was waiting for the chance to meet So Lai Chun in a phone booth. After meeting him, he learned that So Lai Chun had called him and told him about his sailing experience. The two slowly got closer.

During the train journey, Xu Zai kept thinking of his mother who had provided him with the support he needed to raise her. Taking advantage of the urgent farewell to his adoptive mother who was about to leave Hong Kong, they both cried and hugged each other with smiles.
