《影武者》Kagemusha

Introduction

《影武者》故事圍繞著日本戰國時期,武田信玄不幸中槍身亡後,家臣們找來一位與他一模一樣的影武者,以保全軍心和抵抗敵軍進攻。記得開首一幕,武田信玄與其弟信廉及長相酷似信玄的竊賊,樣貌服裝幾近一樣的三人在同一畫面,角色互相模仿,一時之間真的分不清哪個才是真貨。以此為引再想像這一套戲,如以懸疑的角度出發,故事有多個影武者穿插互換,一直發展到後面甚至角色與觀眾都無法分辨哪個才是真身,好像也會很有趣。

"Kagemusha" tells a story set during Japanese Warring States period. After Takeda Shingen was shot and killed, his retainers found a shadow warrior who looks exactly like him, in order to maintain morale and resist attack from enemies. In the opening scene, Takeda Shingen, his brother Nobukado, and the thief who resembles Shingen appearence, all 3 characters mimicking each other with almost identical outlook, making it hard to distinguish who is the real one. Inspired by this, It could be interesting to reimagine the film from a suspenseful perspective, multiple shadow warriors were interchanging throughout the story and eventually lead to the point where even the characters and the audiences cannot tell who is the real Shingen.
